The main objective of the meeting is to sensitize the parliamentarians on the political range of perspectives and interests in the two Treaties (WIPO Beijing Treaty on Audiovisual Performances and the Marrakesh Treaty to Facilitate Access to Published Works for Persons Who Are Blind, Visually Impaired, or Otherwise Print Disabled) which need to be taken into consideration by each country when considering the ratification process. |
