This seminar continues the well-established collaboration with the European Liaison Office of the German Research Organisations (KOWI) and subsequently named associations and builds upon the inclusion of a WIPO dispute resolution clause in the DESCA 2020 Model Consortium Agreement for the European Union research funding program Horizon 2020. The WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center is partnering in this seminar with KOWI, AUTM, DESCA, EIRMA, LESI and LES Benelux. Mr. Jon Lang and Mr. Peter Moody, who are WIPO neutrals and experienced mediators, have agreed to act as instructors. Their fees and travel-related expenses will be covered by the registration fees.
Participants:
The seminar will bring together 25 participants from industry, law firms, research institutes and universities involved in R&D and technology transfer.
WIPO Interest:
The seminar presents an opportunity to train users of the DESCA 2020 Model Consortium Agreement and other attendees in WIPO mediation. |
