The objectives of this mission are to:
1. In Singapore: Review progress on WIPO publish testing in IPOS Singapore and agree on a workplan for the development of ASEAN regional database hub and a strategy for member state involvement - July 20 - Messrs. Meredith & Jang
2. in Myanmar: July 22-23 - All
- Review the existing IP office structure, relevant legislation and business processes;
- Present WIPO solutions for IP office administration, including WIPO IPAS, WIPO File, WIPO Publish and related services;
- Make recommendations on IT management, including the necessary infrastructure, human resources and other resource requirements;
- Propose a cooperation agreement to set the framework for future cooperation on IP office business solutions; and
- Draft a work plan for the future deployment of WIPO solutions and services. |
