The main objective of the seminar is to build on the outcomes of the first HIPOC meeting taking place in Tokyo, Japan on June 29-30, i.e. continue to build relationships between the DGs and with WIPO, and offer an executive level learning platform. The theme of the second event is changing paradigms - shifting focus from an internal to external viewpoint. The topics and presenters will seek to ensure the heads understand the way of the IP office fits within the IP ecosystem and the role it plays more broadly in fostering innovation. |
