The President of the Peruvian Institute for the Defense of Competition and Intellectual Property Protection (INDECOPI), Mr. Herbert Tassano, has recently sent a letter (attached) requesting WIPO to participate in a series of patent-related activities (see below) in the framework of the International Congress on Patents and Inventions, including a seminar on the Budapest Treaty and a workshop on the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT). The Director General of WIPO sent a positive reply expressing WIPO’s support to these initiatives
(enclosed) and also underlining our interest in participating in these events. |
