HIPOC - Phase III on November 30: (I) to build on the outcomes of the first two HIPOC meetings and continue building relationships between and among DGs and WIPO; (II) to serve as the executive level learning platform for DGs, especially the newly-appointed DGs; and (III) to facilitate a shift in paradigm and leadership thinking from ad hoc request-driven cooperation to strategic planning, needs prioritization and development orientation of IP.
SIIPF on December 1-2 : To provide a platform for various IP users and players in the IP ecosystem in China and the region to exchange views on: (I) Sustainable Development Goals, vis-a-vis Global Trends in IP and Technology Development, (II) Strategies in Building Respect for IP and Competition; (III) IP Education in Preparation for a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) Career. |
