ASEAN IT Workshop towards On-line Business Services |

With reference to the approved Work Plan of FIT/Japan (Industrial Property) for the fiscal year 2015-2016, the Trust Fund will provide financial support to two workshops to support the development of Industrial Property (IP) Office Services in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) region. The proposed ASEAN Information Technology (IT) Workshop is the first one in the series as planned to support the technical development of on-line business services in the ASEAN region and to support the better utilization of the Industrial Property Administration System (IPAS) for that purpose. The Workshop will be organized by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), in cooperation with the Secretariat of National Committee for Intellectual Property Rights and Department of Intellectual Property, Ministry of Commerce of Cambodia, and with the assistance of the Japan Patent Office (JPO). |
