The Ad Hoc Open-ended Working Group on Article 8(j) and related provisions of the Convention on Biological Diversity (8(j) WG) will meet in Montreal, Canada, from November 4 to 7, 2015. A notification has been issued by the Executive Secretary of the CBD (copy enclosed), inviting WIPO to participate. It is proposed that WIPO be represented by Ms. Begoña Venero. It is proposed that WIPO organize a side-event to update the participants on the IGC process and on our work on TK and GRs.
