You have kindly approved the attached memorandum regarding the above Sub regional Meeting.
Further to the request of the Government of El Salvador, it is proposed that:
a) WIPO funds two national participants per country, instead of one, in order to invite both decision-makers and technical experts to this meeting.
b) For cost saving purposes, only regional experts are invited as WIPO funded speakers. A speaker from Mexico will be invited instead of a speaker from Spain.
It is noted that a specific topic about the Accessible Books Consortium (ABC) has been included in the program (attached). As discussed with Ms. Halil, ABC will finance the participation of Mr. Pedro Milliet who will enjoy his presence in the country to discuss with the local government possible cooperation in future projects.
A revised cost estimate is attached. It is noted that MR. Pedro Milliet will participate in another event organized by WIPO and that will take place in Panama, from November 24 to 27, 2015, to be detailed in a separate memorandum.
