Mr. Fernando dos Santos, Director General of the African Regional Intellectual Property Organization (ARIPO), has invited the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) to participate in the Thirty-Ninth Session of the Administrative Council and the Fifteenth Session of the Council of Ministers of the African Regional Intellectual Property Organization (ARIPO), which will take place in Lusaka, Zambia, from November 16 to 18, and on November 19 and 20, 2015 respectively to which the Director General of WIPO responded positively. See attached letters.
The Director General has designated Mr. Marc Séry-Koré, Director, and Ms. Joyce Banya, Senior Counsellor, Regional Bureau for Africa, to represent WIPO. It is proposed that
Ms. Banya participate in both Sessions from November 16 to 20, 2015, and Mr. Séry-Koré participate in the Council of Ministers Meeting on November 19 and 20, 2015. |
