The need for continued capacity building in terms of Industrial Property (IP) automation in the Caribbean region, to allow for greater levels of efficiency in their IP administration has been identified.
The objectives of the training workshop would be to:
(i) review, in detail, the configuration and administration of the IPAS system;
(ii) train the participants on the new version 3.1.X of the IPAS system and its different components;
(iii) train the participants on data quality, data extraction, data exchange and online publication using WIPO Publish; and
(iv) train and demonstrate IPAS and WIPO Publish implementation within a cloud platform for small IP offices.
