- to support the Government's initiatives in copyright education and public awareness programs
- to enlarge the pool of national qualified public trainers
- to enhance copyright awareness among public professionals dedicated to education
- to promote creativity in young generations and help them to recognize the meaning and importance of copyright protection.
(POSTPONED to 2017: Event in Managua originally planned for August 9, 2016:
- to explain the role of WIPO in the protection of CRRs + recent developments and trends
- to review practices, legal issues etc relating to copyright
- to identify opportunities and challenges re new models of distributing creative content
- to clarify to authors and creative industries how to protect their work, to license and exploit it, and how to legally use the works of others.) |
