WIPO Inter-Regional TTO Meeting “Working Together on Academic IP Commercialization in the Region” |

Organized upon the request of the President of the IP Office of the Czech Republic and with the agreement of the Director General. Mr. Kratochvil indicated that the meeting will be organized in close collaboration with WIPO, the Czech Industrial Property Office, and the Charles and Metropolitan Universities of Prague. He further suggested the participation of representatives from South East Europe and Visegrad countries.
The meeting will be the follow-up to the sub-regional workshops organized in Maribor (Slovenia) in 2012, in Zagreb in 2013, in Belgrade in 2014 and in Budapest in 2015.
Based on consultations with the host country and potential participants from the region the main topic of this year’s expert meeting will be “Management of University Start–ups”. |
