Regional Workshops on IP for SMEs and Building Respect for IPRs |
| Descripción: |
The objectives of the Workshops would be to:
(i) discuss various approaches and tools to empower the national stakeholders in the participating countries to enhance capacities of SMEs on IP management and to encourage them to use the IP system (in particular trademarks) in order to achieve competitive advantages;
(ii) in line with Strategic Goal VI, examine the minimum standards and flexibilities contained in Part III of the TRIPS Agreement; reflect on recent case law developments; discuss practical issues related to IPRs enforcement, especially in the Internet; and
(iii) exchange good practices/lessons learned in these fields. |
