The Director General of the African Regional Intellectual Property Organization (ARIPO), Mr. Fernando dos Santos, has invited the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) to participate in the Fortieth Session of the Administrative Council of the African Regional Intellectual Property Organization (ARIPO), the commemoration of forty years of existence of the ARIPO, and the inauguration of ARIPO’s New Building, scheduled to take place in Harare, Zimbabwe, from December 4 to 9, 2016. Mr. dos Santos also requested that you deliver a key note address on IP Innovation: Current International Developments.
Due to prior commitments during that period, you have agreed to deliver the key note address by video message to be recorded in collaboration with the communications division. You have also designated Mr. Marc Séry-Koré, Director, and Ms. Joyce Banya, Senior Counsellor, Regional Bureau for Africa, to represent WIPO in both events. |
