To validate the initial findings and the recommendations contained in the report (most importantly with the DG and senior management of DIP as well as key stakeholders) and to gather additional information/data to complete and finalize the report, it is necessary to undertake a follow-up mission during which a series of one-on-one meetings would be arranged and undertaken.

A request was made to WIPO to extend the aforementioned approved activity (1) up till March 31, 2017, in order to hold discussions with the national experts, stakeholders concerned and relevant government officials.
In light of the above developments, it is proposed to readjust the dates of the approved mission and extend the same by three working days, back-to-back, i.e. May 23 to 26, 2017 on IP office diagnostic project and May 29 to 31, 2017, on formulation of a National IP Strategy. |
