Workshop:
- to promote a better understanding of the country's obligations under existing international treaties
- to support the country's efforts in informing their creators about how to prosper in the digital environment by helping them to understand the dynamics of creating, using and exploiting their protected works in the digital environment
- to promote the new existing WIPO treaties by highlighting their social and developmental contributions to significant stakeholders in the society (blind/visually impaired person and performers).
Consultation meeting:
- to provide a setting to be in direct dialogue with the country, inform them of current developments in the international forum and encourage their engagement in the international setting
to discuss and establish a structured and sustained approach to capacity building and action plan. |
