In response to an invitation from the Government of Mauritius to participate in an International SME Innovation and Technology Fair to be held in Port Louis, Mauritius, from May 12 to 14, 2017, it was decided that an expert be hired to participate in the event and make a presentation on innovation and technology with specific emphasis on the intellectual property related needs of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) (please see attached letter from the Director General).
In this regard, it is proposed that Ms. Rose Mboya, Intellectual Property Expert and Head of the Kenya Industrial Research and Development Institute (KIRDI) participate in this event and deliver the requested presentations as necessary. |
