In the framework of the WIPO project on Enabling IP Environment, led by WIPO Bureau for Asian Countries (ASPAC) it was identified that one of the priorities in the area of knowledge transfer in Malaysia is bridging the gap between academic institutions and industry.
The objectives of this meeting would be:
• To develop a clear criteria for the selection of SMEs that would be the beneficiaries of the project;
• To identify priority area(s) that would be the most appropriate context for the successful implementation of the project;
• To define basic lines of the concept paper for the project and potential partners,
• To meet with beneficiary institutions and assess their priority needs. |
