One of the most important projects implemented in the Russian Federation by the WIPO Office in the Russian Federation (WRO) and the Department for Transition and Developed Countries (TDC) is the Project on IP Policies in Universities and Research Institutions (IP Policies Project) in order to assist universities and public research institutions in the Russian Federation to develop their own institutional IP policies and thereby to enhance a better use of the IP system for economic and innovation development of the country.
The implementation of the IP Policies Project includes a number of activities, inter alia the elaboration of a national IP policy guideline “How to Develop Your own IP Policy?” (Guideline) and at least two evaluations of the project. |
