WIPO Connect Introduction meeting + Meeting with CMOs |

The event is made of three different parts:
(i) the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Connect Introduction Meeting for Music Copyright Asian Collective Management Organizations (CMOs) on November 28 and 29 morning. The meeting will last one and an half day and will cover:
- an overview of Collective Management operations with discussions on business specifics related to the Asian Region;
- the presentation of the solution; and
- an introduction to the deployment plan.
This meeting is targeting height selected Asian CMOs or umbrella organizations;
(ii) a half day meeting with the representative of Sentra Lisensi Musik Indonesi (SELMI) and with the representative of the Music Right Malaysia (MRM) to discuss the situation of the collective management in their respective countries; and
(iii) a half day meeting with Dr. Edmun Lam, CEO, Composers and Authors Society of Singapore Limited, (COMPASS), to introduce the WIPO Connect project and to discuss potential partnership in the region. |
