Reference is made to the implementation of the above mentioned project in the United Republic of Tanzania.
Significant progress has been made in the execution of the project in accordance with the envisaged delivery schedule.
The National Expert Group (NEG), which was institutionalized for the project, has identified two development need areas for which appropriate technologies are required, namely:
(i) the processing of seaweeds to extract carrageenan and (ii) the production of appropriate fish feeds for fish farming. |
