In October 2012, the Madrid Union Assembly decided to give an ongoing mandate to the Working Group on the Legal Development of the Madrid System for the International Registration of Marks (hereinafter referred to as "the Working Group"). The 11th session of the Working Group has been scheduled to take place this year. All members of the Madrid Union (89 Contracting Parties) would be invited to participate as members of the Working Group. The meeting is also open to the participation of the foloowing observers: (a)all other States party to the Paris Union and/or WIPO; (b)organizations listed in the annex hereto, and other interested organizations having observer status in WIPO. |
