The copyright film-related project aims to provide an introduction on the importance of copyright to all stakeholders in the Film industry. In Nepal, the level of knowledge in this area is rather low and such a seminar would have as its main objective to equip the creative community with the basic skills and management know how associated with their works.
During preparation of the 2012 Workplan and following consultations between the Division for Least Developed Countries (LDCs) and the Copyright Sector it was agreed that copyright related activities be undertaken in certain least developed countries in Africa and the ASPAC regions. These activities are in the approved Workplan 2012 of the Division for LDCs. It is now proposed to organize the outlined activities as requested. |
