Pursuant to the launching of the above mentioned project, in Kathmandu, Nepal, in January 2011, identification of two problem areas and search for appropriate technology in patent and relevant databases had been completed. The first draft technical landscape report has been prepared by the International Expert of the project in cooperation with and close coordination with WIPO and the National Expert of Nepal. In addition to the above, the National Expert is nearly completing the draft business plan for the implementation of the selected appropriate technologies.
