At its thirtieth session, the Committee on Development and Intellectual Property (CDIP)
approved the Revised Document on Future Webinars (CDIP/30/8 REV.), which requests the Secretariat to organize annual Webinars on Technical Assistance.
2. Based on the delivery strategy detailed in that document, at its thirty-fifth session, the Committee decided that the topics of the webinars to be organized in 2026, should be:
a)Innovative Technical Assistance: Technologies and Approaches for Evolving Development Needs; and
b) Sustainability of Results in Technical Assistance Programs
The first session will take place on Thursday, May 28, 2026 (between 2:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. (Geneva time))
The objective of this upcoming webinar is to explore how new approaches and technologies continue to offer unprecedented opportunities to enhance delivery and impact of technical assistance and capacity building programs. |
