This Conference is held in recognition of more than 130 years of IP protection in Bulgaria, representing a significant milestone for IP development in the country. The event will bring together high-level government officials, senior policymakers, alongside the Presidents of the European Patent Office (EPO) and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), Heads and representatives of IP Offices from the CEBS region, business leaders, and distinguished academics. The preliminary program is attached.
The Conference will feature two interactive panels exploring themes closely aligned with WIPO's priorities: the global IP architecture and achieving business success through IP-driven innovation, and IP in education, inspiring young talent, and providing meaningful instruments for youth engagement. This aligns with WIPO's work in the region, particularly our capacity-building initiatives and support for innovation ecosystems. |
