1. Provide practical training and guidance on establishing and managing a national IP office.
2. Share best practices in legal and institutional frameworks, human capacity building, and service delivery.
3. Learn from the Republic of Korea’s IP policies/planning, operational systems, and strategic partnerships.
4. Enable participants to develop a mission and vision statement for a new IP office, sustainability plan and an outline national IP strategy tailored to the national IP development needs of Timor-Leste based on the learning from training and guidance
5. Learn from customer service innovations and user-centric support models, including the KIPO’s Seoul Branch Office (receiving applications and customer consultation) and the Regional Intellectual Property Center (RIPC) operated by Korea Invention Promotion Association (KIPA). |
