(1) To commence the national intellectual property strategy development process by assembling relevant ministries, government agencies, and stakeholder groups from the private sector, fostering a comprehensive understanding among all parties involved regarding the importance of a National Intellectual Property Strategy, effective inter-ministerial coordination, stakeholder engagement, and policy alignment.
(2) To secure political commitment and active involvement from key senior government representatives throughout the national IP strategy development process.
(3) To engage with relevant stakeholders from both public and private sectors to identify development needs, IP priorities and challenges with a view to establish a baseline and produce diagnostic report with findings and recommendations for the next steps. |
