As per the approved implementation document for the CDIP project on Promoting the Use of IP in the Creative Industries in Developing Countries in the Digital Environment, WIPO has produced in 2023 a tool on “The Role of Intellectual Property Rights in the Fashion Industry: From Conception to Commercialization”.
One of the deliverables of the project for 2025 is the organization of workshops and webinars in the beneficiary countries. The Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mining of Uruguay, as one of the beneficiary countries of the project has requested WIPO’s support in co-organizing a webinar on the IP business and legal considerations of technology in the fashion industry on March 25, 2025.
