Title: TRTA 2 Program for Pakistan - Study Visit/Training of Enforcement Officials
Description: Following consultations with colleagues in WIPO, with enforcement authorities in UK, and with IPO Pakistan, it is proposed that a small group of IP enforcement related officials (3 from the Federal Investigation Agency, 1 from the Police, 2 from Customs and 1 from IPO-Pakistan) may be sent to the United Kingdom, specifically to the Warrington Borough Council, for a four day training/study visit. It is further proposed that prior to visiting the UK, this group may come to the WIPO Headquarters for one day for (i) a briefing by the Building Respect for IP Division on good practices on enforcement, and (ii) consultations with the ASPAC Bureau on actions expected from these officials to ensure that this activity results in sustained training programs on IP enforcement in Pakistan.
