Taking into account the positive feedback of WIPO Member States representatives about prior editions of the training on geographical indications (GIs) “InterGI” organized by the French Agricultural Research Center for International development (CIRAD) and Réseau Echange Développement Durable (REDD) and following discussions with relevant colleagues, it is proposed to finance this year again the participation of two representatives from Cambodia, Pakistan, Tonga and Uganda, as well as two representatives from Pacific Island based in Fiji involved in the development of GIs at regional level. |
