The Workshop primarily targets an audience already somewhat acquainted with the UDRP. One of the purposes of the Workshop is to promote the filing of UDRP cases with WIPO. In addition, the Workshop is designed to attract participation from registrars and country code Top Level Domain (ccTLD) administrators who wish to increase their knowledge of WIPO UDRP procedures. This Workshop also helps to meet the significant number of requests for information which the Center receives regarding its procedures and services.
The program will also provide an overview of the status of other ICANN Rights Protection Mechanisms (RPMs) and an update on ICANN’s UDRP review process.
