Reference is made to the attached incoming communication of October 4, 2018, from
Ms. Tuğba Canatan Akıcı, Legal Counselor/IP Lawyer and Attorney, Permanent Mission of Turkey to the WTO, requesting financial support for the participation of one speaker from TURKPATENT in the upcoming MIKTA Seminar on Women and Innovation, to take place on the sidelines of the upcoming Committee on Development and Intellectual Property (CDIP): Twenty-Second Session, in Geneva, on November 19, 2018.
The Development Sector is financing all Members of MIKTA, except Australia and Turkey. The presentation by Australia will be made by a Geneva delegate. In light of the fact that the Development Sector will not be in a position to finance the participation of Turkey, it is proposed that Program 10 finances the participation of one speaker from Turkey. |
