The objective of the seminars is to present a comprehensive view of the useful functions WIPO can provide for the benefit of stakeholders in Spain, including the global IP systems, the normative program, and major studies, global databases for IP and platforms and tools for the connected knowledge economy. One of the three seminars will be focused on researchers and will be hosted by the National Council for Research (CSIC), which is the largest PCT user in Spain. For this specific seminar, an intervention by the Division of SMEs and Entrepreneurship Support is envisaged. To this effect, a separate memo will be submitted. A brainstorming meeting with OEPM, followed by a working lunch, has also been organized. |
