Continuing the implementation of the three Development Agenda recommendations that are the basis of the WIPO Thematic Project on Intellectual Property and Competition, in particular of Recommendation 32, which aims at facilitating “exchange of national and regional experiences and information on the links between IPRs and competition policies”, we are now envisaging to organize a new Roundtable (the third one) in a fashion that permits intellectual property offices and competition authorities of a number of Member States to inter-act and acquire a better understanding of the main issues and values and stake (which is also the subject matter of Recommendation 7). With the objective of enriching the debates, we are inviting countries with different levels of experience on IP and Competition Policy. |
