The WIPO Pilot Project “Establishment of TTO’s in the Arab Region” launched in 2010, as an extra budgetary activity of the Organization was reviewed in 2014, and redrafted in a reduced form in order to correspond to the current situation in the Region and adapted to available financial resources within the regular WIPO budget.
On January 7, 2015, WIPO received a Note Verbale (attached) from the Algerian Permanent Mission requesting that the “Fact Finding Mission” be organized in March 2015. In our positive response to this request (attached) we accepted the proposed date of March 22 to 26, 2015, for this mission to take place. |
