Independent Review of Development Agenda – Consultation Visit |

The purpose of this memorandum is to seek your approval for a visit to Geneva by the Review Team. It is recalled that the TORs approved by the CDIP envisage a visit by the Review Team after a draft of the inception report has been prepared. However, as discussed by the Committee headed by yourself to coordinate the Review process, it was felt appropriate to have the Review Team visit the WIPO Headquarters to meet key staff before the drafting of the inception report starts. This will also help the Team members to be familiarized with each other and to develop their work methodology.
It is therefore suggested that Mr. V. K. Gupta, Mr. Gift Huggins Sibanda undertake a three-day visit to Geneva during the first half of May 2015. The third expert, Mr. Pedro Roffe resides in Geneva. |
