In her letter of October 16, 2015 (copy is attached), Ms. Natalia Buzova, Director, International Cooperation Department, Federal Service for Intellectual Property (ROSPATENT), requested WIPO to organize a study visit of the winners of the International Intellectual Property Olympiad for high school students to WIPO under aegis of the Russian State Academy of Intellectual Property (RGAIS), to be held in Geneva in December 2015.
In this regard, considering the importance of the cooperation between WIPO and RGAIS, which is a key education institution of the Russian Federation in the field of IP providing a wide range of activities to disseminate knowledge and skills in IP via training, teaching and research, it is proposed to organize a three-day study visit for three winners and one representative of RGAIS on December 7 to 9, 2015. |
