In his letter of July 10, 2015 (copy attached), Mr. Makhsud Bobojanov, Acting Director General, Agency on Intellectual Property (IP) of the Republic of Uzbekistan, requested WIPO to support the organization of a “Seminar on Education and Training in the Field of Intellectual Property”, to be held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, in September 2016. WIPO’s commitment to assist the Agency on IP was confirmed in the letter dated July 20, 2015 (copy attached).
On May 23, 2016, the Agency on IP proposed to organize the seminar on September 27 and 28, 2016 (copy of the communication attached) and communicated the practical arrangements involved. |
