In his letter of November 1, 2016 Mr. Manas Abdyllabek uulu, Chairman, State Service of Intellectual Property and Innovation under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic (Kyrgyzpatent), requested WIPO to organize a study visit to the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center for representatives of Kyrgyzpatent. A positive reply concerning this request was sent to Kyrgyzpatent on November 24, 2016.
In this regard, it is proposed to organize a two-day study visit for three representatives of Kyrgyzpatent to the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center, on February 22 and 23, 2017.
The objective of the event would be to share WIPO’s experience concerning mediation, arbitration and domain name dispute resolution services with the Kyrgyz delegation in order to assist their efforts to develop a national alternative dispute resolution system in the Kyrgyz Republic. |
