This activity is a follow-up to already delivered capacity building training programs in the area of knowledge transfer that WIPO organized in Vietnam in the framework of the FIT Australia Program on Knowledge Transfer in Asia, in 2014 and 2015. In addition, the event was coordinated with the Regional Bureau for Asian Countries (ASPAC) and aligned with the WIPO Enabling IP Environment (EIPE) Project for Vietnam to achieve sustainability of results.
The objective of the Workshop is to improve the knowledge of scientists, technology managers and lawyers from universities and publically funded research institutions regarding IPR management and licensing, and to empower them to estimate the value of technologies developed in local universities as well as to draft licensing agreements. |
