In her letter of October 20, 2017 (copy attached), Ms. Alicja Adamczak, President, Patent Office of the Republic of Poland (PPO), requested WIPO to contribute to the Award Ceremony for the National Competition for Best Posters, Short Movies, Media Information and Scientific Works, organized by the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland (PPO), in cooperation with local partners, to be held in Warsaw, on December 8, 2017.
Following discussion with Ms. Adamczak, it is proposed that WIPO provides financial support for a working lunch for 120 persons, as well as that Mr. Ryszard Frelek, Program Officer, TDC, undertakes the mission to Warsaw to participate in the said ceremony and make an intervention on the Role of Intellectual Property in Economic Development based on the Global Innovation Index 2017. |
