Reference is made to the Memorandum of Understanding between the Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) on Alternative Dispute Resolution in the Area of Intellectual Property, signed in Geneva on October 4, 2017 and the request from the Director General of Rospatent Mr. Grigory Ivliev of November 7, 2017 for a study visit of Russian experts to WIPO in Geneva to learn the experience of the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center.
In this regard, it is proposed to meet the above mentioned request and to organize the Study Visit to the WIPO Headquarters for IP Mediators, to be held on December 20, 2017, for up to five mediators from the Russian State Academy of Intellectual Property (RGAIS) Mediation Center. |
