Title: WIPO Regional Training Workshop on IPAS for Trademark Examiners
Description: The objectives of the Training Workshop are: (I) to build capacity of trademark examiners on the use of the IPAS for search and examination; (ii) to introduce WIPO tools and services available for trademark examination to Examiners; (iii) to build capacity of examiners on the roles of an IP Office being a member of the Madrid Protocol, focusing on processing international applications and designations in the international registrations, various notifications to WIPO on the scope of protection (use of model forms), and the available tools and services; and (iv) to highlight and reiterate Examiners' role and contribution to IP process automation and optimization
