In the seconde phase of the Funds-in-Trust from the government of Australia to Wipo, technical assistance in the field of copyright and related rights to South Pacific Countries has been indicated as one of the top priorities.In the FIT 2016-2017 implementation work plan, Tonga has been identified as one of the priority countries to receive technical assistance, in view of its status of development.After consultation with the relevant Australian counterpart and the Government of Tonga, the organization of a national seminar on copyright and related rights have been agreed upon. |
