In the framework of the cooperation between WIPO and the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture, WIPO has been supporting a pilot project on assessing the economic, social and cultural impact of copyright in Finland. The project has come to a final stage and the final analysis needs to be done on the basis of a model, developed by Professor Vanus James, (Trinidad and Tobago). The Finnish side has extended an invitation to contribute to the final consultation meeting to be held in Helsinki on March 8, 2016. The participation of Professor James as the key expert contributing to the analysis is of great significance for ensuring the smooth application of the assessment model, taking a final survey of the contributing experts and processing the data for the evidence-based analysis. |
