Further to your instructions, this memorandum seeks your approval to organize a workshop on legislative advice on copyright and related rights matters with the aim of harmonizing the standards on the provision of comments to be prepared for WIPO Member States in that area.
It is proposed that the workshop be held in WIPO Headquarters from April 5 to 7, 2016, and that WIPO finance the participation of Professor Jorgen Blomqvist (University of Copenhaguen) as a leading instructor, as well a number of external experts who have worked or are currently working with the Copyright Law Division on legislative advice activities. |
