The International Bureau of WIPO is pleased to announce that the revision of WIPO Standard ST.96 was published on the WIPO website on September 29, 2016. 
 
WIPO Standard ST.96 recommends XML (eXtensible Markup Language) resources to be used for filing, publication, processing, and exchange of all types of industrial property information, i.e. patents, trademarks and industrial designs.

The revised WIPO Standard ST.96 is available in English, French and Spanish on the WIPO website.
