  • adding a new two-letter alphabetic code “XV” which represents the Visegrad Patent Institute (VPI) as a result of consultation by correspondence (see Circular C.CWS 61); and
  • changing the name “Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (Trademarks and Designs) (OHIM)” to “European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO)” as a consequence of the Regulation (EU) 2015/2424 of the European Parliament and the Council of 16 December 2015  which came into force on 23 March 2016 (Official Journal of the European Union 24/12/2015).
